It is the longest night of the year!
Depending on where you are, December 21 will mark the first day of winter or summer, and the longest or shortest night of the year.
When the winter solstice brings the longest night of the year, that makes for a great time for night caching!
This geocoin series has fun and intricate designs featuring a postage stamp theme. The winter design includes a classic skiing scene on one side, and some boxing snow bunnies on the other.
This is the fourth and final in a series of four 2026 equinox/solstice geocoins.
The 2026 Winter Solstice geocoin is trackable at Geocaching.com with a unique icon.
This geocoin was designed exclusively for Shop Geocaching by our friends at Landsharkz.ca.
